Sepals and petals 5. Disk cup-shaped or swollen and enveloping the ovary. Ovary superior, 2-locular; ovules 1 in each loculus. Fruit a fleshy drupe. Seeds 2. Worldwide: c. 12 species occurring in Africa, E Asia and W North America Tanzania: 1 taxon. |
