Growing amongst small to mid-sized grasses in the upper to lower slopes of perennially wet riverside dambo above Kalonde Falls

Scrambling twiner or shrublet, copious white exudate. Flower buds yellow, open flowers yellow-green, small corona. Old fruit valves brown.

Shrublet to 50 cm tall with white exudate; erect unbranched stems from long rhizomes. Sterile voucher for identification.

Occuring in clumps. About 50 cm tall. A few plants seen.

Herb about 30 cm tall. Flowers lilac with 3 petals. Anthers and stigma exposed when in full bloom. Lateral roots. Leaves with parallel veins with a reddish green upperside.

Tall evergreen tree to 15 m tall, bark pale grey, smoothish, mottled; locally frequent along stream in coastal woodland.
